Peterborough & Area Municipal Parks:
Jackson's Park - Corner of Monaghan Road & Parkhill Road
Jackson's Park is a large park located in the north-central area of Peterborough. Named after Jackson's Creek which flows though the park and downtown Peterborough, it boasts a Pagoda style bridge and dam at the pond, a playground, a hiking/biking/x-country ski trail and a large wooded area.
Morrow Park - Lansdowne Street West at George St. S.
Morrow park is located in the south/central area of town and is home to the Memorial Centre, baseball diamonds, an oval race track with grandstand, livestock barns, football field and a couple of general purpose buildings. Morrow Park is also home to the annual Peterborough Exhibition.
Riverview Park & Zoo - Water Street North at Cumberland
Riverview Park & Zoo is located in the North end of Peterborough on the Ottonabee River. Riverview is a great park with lots of free parking and free access to the entire park and zoo. The only cost to users is for refreshments at the snack kiosk and the mini-train ride for the kids. Riverview Park & Zoo is operated and fully funded by proceeds from the Peterborough Utilities Service.
